5 of 5 Great bang for your buck! February 6, 2015
Reviewer: Nate from Indian Land, SC United States
Worthwhile mod for how much it costs and how long it takes to swap out the bushings. Definitely improves shift feel; it made 4-5 much smoother. Best way to describe it is it narrows the shift 'gates'.

5 of 5 Clunk - Clunk - Clunk July 30, 2012
Reviewer: toprock from Alexandria, VA United States
That's all I hear now when I shift! No more searching for gears...no more spongy/vague feeling. At first...I thought 40 bucks was a little steep...but trust me, definitely one of the mods you need to get for this car. It's ALOT more fun to drive now! The spongy shifter is one of the MS3's weaknesses, but this little piece of aluminum fixes that 100%

5 of 5 Must have! March 6, 2011
Reviewer: LaCorey Will from Hartford, CT United States
These definitely make shifting feel more solid. My only complaint, no instructions. The install was simple, but considering that there are different pieces, I had to figure out which piece went on top or bottom. After a few tries, I figured it out and the shifter is solid. This install requires patience and persistence because there's not much room to work. Along with the SURE engine mount installed, you become ONE with the engine. You feel all the rumble and power in your seat! Great!

5 of 5 Amazing November 16, 2010
Reviewer: Kevin from Fredericksburg, VA United States
I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about buying these at first.  Even after all of the favorable reviews, I still wasn't sure if they'd work THAT well. I was so tired of "missing" that 2-3 shift, I was actually starting to question my ability to drive a stick!  So imagine my surprise after I did purchase and install them!  Mazda really short-changed us on the factory offerings.  My left rear factory bushing was actually "egged", and those only had 37,000 miles on them!  So, do yourself (and your tranny) a favor and buy em!  They work, and take less than an hour to install.  One more note, after I installed the bushings, I changed my trans. fluid to a full synthetic fluid.  The bushings worked, but the fluid AND bushings was an amazing difference.  My car shifts like a Honda now!

4 of 5 Better shifting in under an Hour October 14, 2010
Reviewer: Kyle from Indianapolis, IN United States
Ordered on tues afternoon and received thurs morning! Very fast shipping. Not a very hard install at all for being a novice. I used the install guide from TWM (www.twmshiftknobs.com) that had pictures to make sure everything went smooth. Took less than an hour. Front Left bushing was hardest one for me to get because the shifting cable was still in the way after you pop it off the steel plate. Shifting into gears feels more precise and easier to move between the gears. Def worth the $30.

4 of 5 Nice Inexpensive Mod September 13, 2010
Reviewer: Corey Frisch from West Hills, CA United States
The first thing that must be stated is how ridiculously cheap this mod is in comparison with others. Secondly, I'd like to say that these spacers feel quite a bit better than the stock ones. The stock ones make the gear selector feel a bit spongy as well as notchy. These SU spacers allow the gear changes to be smoother and less clunky. As a novice, the install took a bit of time, but if you know your way around a car, this shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. Very nice mod! I only wish that the instructions were a little more detailed!

4 of 5 another fine product February 27, 2010
Reviewer: Richie from PA United States
When I opened the package and saw a little baggie with 4 washers and 4 bushings I wasn't sure how they were going to make any difference. But they did not at first but quick gear changes and down shifts are more precise. Easy install no need to pull the whole console out just cup holder and shifter cover. Top left took 5 extra min. 20 for whole install. Nice work SU.
