Why Not!? August 15, 2009 Reviewer: Justin from Pottstown, PA United States   Who knew such a small part could make a pretty reasonable difference. For the price this is a must have mod. The install took me a little less than an hour. Only because it was my first time taking apart the console in my car and being very careful. Great Product July 21, 2009 Reviewer: Ian from Warminster, PA United States   This is truely a must have product.  It eliminated the 2-3 miss shift.  The stock shifter feels better through daily driving too.  The instructions that come with the unit say you need to remove the entire center console.  I was easily able to install these in 15mins with only removing the cup holders. Descent Improvement May 14, 2009 Reviewer: Brad Smith from Atascadero, CA United States   I would like to give this 3.5 stars but that wasn't an option.  After using the new bushings for two weeks  I have now decided that I like them. Good improvement over stock bushings.  Don't expect anything magical, these simply make your shifter gates more precise - either you're in or out. However, the inherent play in the vague Mazdaspeed3 shifter is more pronounced because the shifter no longer moves and flexes to allow you to slide it into gear when you're not precisely in line with the gates.  It will force you to become a more accurate shifter.  Shifter does slide into gear better.  For the money, I'm glad I bought them. Affordable upgrade, fairly easy install. May 13, 2009 Reviewer: Gabe from Honolulu, HI    As you well know this mod isn't supposed to be the magic fix-all with your shifter.  But if you're looking for a little better feel "banging" through gears, you definitely want to start here!!! Did the install myself during my lunch break.  No noticable difference during regular daily driving, BUT when you're driving hard and banging through gears it feels WAY MORE solid!! So if you're a heavy foot driver, track racer, autocrosser, drag racer, etc...  this is WORTH IT for such a low price. Great job SU! Was this review helpful to you?

highly recommend these bushings April 14, 2009 Reviewer: Andrew  Katz from Alpharetta, GA United States   A little trouble getting the center console out.  Took about an hour and a half due to dropping a bolt that took a while to retreive.  After install these are great. Throws through gears better and 3rd is almost impossible to miss now. WOT shifts are great now.. no missing gears Was this review helpful to you?

Shifter Spacers January 3, 2009 Reviewer: Matt from Nebraska   Product: Awesome, the shifter feels less sloppy and much more direct. Install: The SU instructions were a bit vague but a bit of fiddling around solved that. All the panels are on pressure clips so I was afraid of pulling to hard, which led me to taking extra time. Easy install & slightly better shift feel November 1, 2008 Reviewer: Schubert from Naperville, IL United States   I only felt a slight difference in shifting feel over the stock bushings, but overall shifting felt more solid (especially from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd). There are no downsides to this mod and it's only $30 so definitely a great inexpensive mod. Was this review helpful to you?
