Large Performance improvements around 4K, Just pulling all day.. the sucking sound is crazy.. Definitely recommend the pre cone filter for those who live in rain populated areas. No regrets. Exceptional Bang for the Buck!!! February 10, 2009 Reviewer: Fuji27 from Miami, FL United States   Recently installed the Injen CAI for my 08 MS3 in only 2 hours! Don't stress about removing the entire front bumper, as other reviewers have stated, just remove the front left side wheel and wheel well, and you'll save tonnes of time. Only had a little trouble with the removal of the small shield behind the wheel well and the plastic clips on the stock rubber intake tube. I felt the gains instantaneously!!! The torque steer in first and second gears is reduced, but the speed of the car has increased dramatically. I shaved off an average of 1/4 sec. off my 0 - 60 times. The sounds of the spooling turbo and stock bov are amazing! To be on the safe side (especially in Miami), get the HydroShield. You wouldn't regret purchasing the Injen CAI. 1. The stock MAF fit perfectly. 2. Does not trip any Check Engine Codes. 3. Instantly notice the additional HP & Torque. 4. Sounds great... finally hear your Turbo. 5. awesome November 20, 2008 Reviewer: Adam from Dalton, GA   this was the 1st mod to my 08MS3. fit and finish of the product is awesome. instructions are very straightforward and everything went together perfectly. i recommend a prefilter with this d/t location of filter though. highly recommend November 15, 2008 Reviewer: turbos3 from Downey, CA United States   First engine mod on my 09 MS3.  Made a really big improvement with quicker spool and throttle response. and the sound, I didnt think the stock BPV would sound so good. Great Intake July 26, 2008 Reviewer: jarred wilhelm from pine grove, PA United States   Great product. Pretty easy install, dont need to take the front bumper off although it would be easier to get the slash gaurd off. doesn't set off any air sensors, and it sounds great. your can really hear the stock blowoff valve better and you gotta love the swooosh sound!!!Buy the pre-filter its definitly worth the money.. Great Product May 25, 2008 Reviewer: Moe Kark from Detroit, MI United States   This is honestly the first modification to have. It helps the car's idle, performance, and sounds absolutely fantastic! great functionality and price May 11, 2008 Reviewer: Vader Speed3 from Tamuning,  Guam   Excellent product and great first mod.  Careful research led me to this intake.  Wonderful whoosh sound at around 3500rpm all the way to redline.  Coupled with a BOV, it really smoothes out the boost.  No need to remove front bumper.  Just remove drivers side front tire and wheel well and BAAMM!  An hour and a half saved.  Prefilter is a MUST given the location of the filter.  Black one looks SAWEEETTT! Injen CAI April 5, 2008 Reviewer: Ricardo Aranda from Newport News, VA United States   Great intake, very high quality, instructions were extremely thorough. Felt the performance gains instantly and they were surprisingly high! However, the placement of the filter couldn't be in a worse spot. It is located directly under space between hood and fender. Washed car and later sucked in water. MAF sensor & filter got very wet. Put dryflow filter on and OK ever since. Strongly recommend getting pre-filter with this CAI. Was this review helpful to you?
