5 of 5 Very happy December 30, 2012
Reviewer: tommyboy from Simpsonville, SC United States
I purchased the TIP along with a SRI and AP.  I notice a power increase but the addition to the turbo spool and blowoff you hear now makes it very intense during a 3rd or 4th gear pull.  I will see the numbers soon on a dyno but I am happy with the results so far.  Oh, and no issues with waves of power as with the other reviews.  I did install Autotec internals at the same time so I don't know if that had an effect with correcting issues others had.

5 of 5 Great product! May 16, 2012
Reviewer: Tinson Lau from Federal Way, WA United States
This is a great piece and I don't know why people are complaining. You can't just keep throwing on parts on your car without getting a tune. Even if you have just an intake you still should get your car tuned. You can't expect to just keep throwing parts into your car and thinking that it will run well. After tuning with the AP, the car runs so much better I can hear the airflow a lot smoother than before. Definitely feel the power gain. Great combo with the Cobb SRI. Make sure you're ready to tune it before you get everything installed.

5 of 5 Great purchase! October 12, 2011
Reviewer: Justin Miller from Weldon Spring, MO United States
I recently ordered my Cobb Turbo Inlet and installed it with my Cobb SRI that I've had for 1 1/2 years so far. Most definitely worth the money! 5th gear didn't seem to pull too hard before, but now it screams! It makes such a difference, I would definitely reccomend using it with the Cobb SRI. Can't wait to get an AP and see an even bigger change!

5 of 5 FORGET what those guys are saying about.... March 17, 2011
Reviewer: Chris from Tuscloosa, AL United States
...not using the COBB SRI and COBB TIP together...must be something wrong they're doing, because I installed both in my car shy of a month ago and I absolutely love it - car pulls like "WHOA" now...and there is no "spiking" or "waves"...don't let that scare you away from these two incredible products!! The increased performance gains are BEYOND noticeable and omg, you will love the sound!!! Best car part I've ever spent money on [so far].

3 of 5 Do noCOBB TIP & SRI combo until tuned! January 9, 2011
Reviewer: Chad Sparks from GLENPOOL, OK United States
I can confirm the issue with the car pulling in surges when combining this TIP with the COBB Short Ram Intake. You can run one or the other, but not both, unless you get a tune. The MAF just can't handle the combo. Stay away from the TIP and just get the SRI until you have the money to do a custom dyno tune. Great product other than this issue.

3 of 5 CAR PULLS IN WAVES... BAD! September 15, 2010
Reviewer: Mitch from Waynesburg, PA United States
I ordered the Cobb SRI, and TIP together. The combination of the two on a stock tune is bad! 4th 5th 6th gears pull in waves plus a big power loss... either combine the cobb tip with another intake or buy a 600.00 cobb access port. Good luck! Thumbs down for cobb not knowing about this. Check mazdaspeedforums.org if you dont believe me.
ALL IN ALL the install was easy and every thing fit like a glove.

5 of 5 COBB TIP - Another great bolt on August 9, 2010
Reviewer: TF from Richfield, MN United States
Installed on MazdaSpeed 6 in conjunction with COBB SRI.  Great combination, not too bad to install, just be patient.  Installed both parts in about an hour and a half.  Street Unit provided excellent customer service, I accidentally ordered TIP and SRI in different colors.  They bent over backwards to help me get both pieces in the same color.

This also works perfectly on a Mazdaspeed 6.  Installed along with my Injen CAI in about 45 minutes no problem.  Its a very nice product, a lot better than the stock TIP!

5 of 5 Perfect first mod! - (Use w/ SU Intake!) April 11, 2010
Reviewer: Grant Kyle from Highlands Ranch, CO United States
SU intake + COBB Turbo intake + K&N Panel insert w/ modified factory airbox.
Quality: The COBB  Turbo Inlet intake is the highest quality piece I have seen on the market and the fit is perfect!
Ease of Installation: Install was simple -(recommend adding the Heavy Duty Clamps) - basic metric tools needed.
TIP: If you are going to use the stock airbox for this application I highly recommend "mocking" the fitment of the intake system to the airbox mounted in place before re- installing the battery box. This allows you to set the angles and torque the clamps on the intake hoses with no interference.
-Performance: The whole systems conservatively makes 10+HP but more importantly it greatly improves daily drivability and seat of the pants performance.
*Be advised that if you are running the factory stock turbo inlet it is more than likely leaking!! Mine literally fell off when I went to remove it!!!

5 of 5 Cobb turbo inlet April 3, 2010
Reviewer: MS3.703 from Northern Va
wow..its almost a night and day difference when compared to the OEM inlet. if you have an aftermarket intake you need this part! i paired this up with my Cobb SRI and you can tell right away this thing works! the OEM tube was pulled off even without having to losen up the clamp..very flimsy and poor construction. install was pretty straight foward, take your time. your turbo will sing with this part on it..youll love it! get it!
