This intake manifold removes the butterfly valves that plague and restrict the air flow on the OEM Mazdaspeed Protege factory intake plenum.

Does not include cap to cover EGR. Must source flexible EGR or Cap EGR.

This is a really great manifold, better flow, less restriction. My only complaint is I wish it came with instructions because it deletes quite a few sensors and vacuum hoses and it took me a little bit to figure out what went where. Also the new EGR pipe is a pain. I recommend getting that in place before putting the new manifold in. You kind if have to force it in because it seemed like it didn't go the same route as the old pipe. I don't recommend this for novice car enthusiasts because it's easy to lose bolts and get confused with the new placement of sensors and hoses.
But all in all a great manifold.

if you own a msp and you want your car to go faster and sound better as a bonus. then i highly recomend getting this intake. worth every penny.

This thing gave me 30 more HP to the wheels when complimented with a greddy profec B EBC and only 3psi more then stock. Went from 8.5 psi 169 hp to 11psi at 205hp. Dyno can be found on the forums for proof!!!

Absolute great buy!
