smooths shifts September 16, 2009 Reviewer: Arek from Wilmington, DE United States   I was skeptical, but everyone has been installing these. I got mine with the street bushings, and I gotta say I'm very impressed with the way the car shifts into 2nd and how it handles power in 1st on launch. Haven't laid into it yet as I'm waiting 500 miles for break in. There are some vibes in 1st and idle and with AC on they increase a bit. I personally like the vibes, gives the car a unique "pulse". Do it! September 15, 2009 Reviewer: Drew Hall from Upland, CA United States   I have not experienced wheel hop since installing this mod.  Vibration in the cab is slightly increased but not really noticeable unless you are sitting at a stop with the AC on. huge improvement after install May 30, 2009 Reviewer: Joshua  I. from Orlando, FL United States   I have been waiting for the whole mount kit from SU but I got this one before the side mounts, let me tell you! This mount made my car perform like new, NO traction loss! The power is put firmly to the ground! I also have a cracked cylinder head mount bushing, so this mount is picking up the rest of the slack...til I get the other mounts. Streetunit you guys rule! Solid piece May 13, 2009 Reviewer: Chris Jawornicki from Halifax, NS Canada   I'd like to start by yet again saying how great the guys at SU are with customer service. Everyone's already said it, super easy install, needed a 17mm & 19mm socket, and my jack, 30 min later you have a new mount. First impressions, yes there is a slight vibration at idle BUT only sometimes, and when it is there it is very slight. Although wheel hop is greatly diminished, I found that there is still a little bit left. But I would say it is due to the Potenzas which are reluctant to just spin. But hard launches and spirited starts now feel good. Great purchase. Was this review helpful to you?

Another SU winner. A great "starter" upgrade! May 13, 2009 Reviewer: Gabe from Honolulu, HI   Seems daunting to any newbie to try to replace a motor mount, so stop right there: IT'S A SUPER EASY INSTALL!!  You got jack stands??  A decent socket wrench set?  You're ready to go in less than half an hour!! After install and proper break in, I did notice a difference during launches/spirited starts; less clunk, more go!  I have NO VIBRATION issues that I can find, before and after installation feel the same.   Great job Street Unit!! Put one in my Mazda5 March 15, 2009 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Ballston Spa, NY United States   Well, I was very worried about vibrations when I ordered this mount (I got the softer durometer due to this concern).  Yes, there are added vibrations around idle and if you put the motor under load at low RPM's, but the mount did get my clutch chatter under control, my clutch feel improved, I lost a lot of driveline lash and I got crisper throttle response as a bonus.  The vibes are a bit of a shock at first, but they do mellow a bit with miles, plus you get used to it some as well.  Hell, my wife even likes the "more connected" feel.  To me, the pluses outweigh the negatives.  Nice product, and Kyle was great talking me through my concerns.  Thanks, SU!
