Streetunit Rear Engine Mount |

The mount was really easy to install and took only 30 minutes. The only problem during install was that the original brackets had to be bent out of the way to make room for the bigger part. At first, there is a noticeable increase in vibration. Although, after a couple days of daily driving, the vibrations went away. Great install for the money, noticeable difference in shifts espically for the 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. definately worth the money.

I love this mod that I just did to my speed 6, it completely transformed the car...has a bit of a vibration but its all worth it cause it doesnt have that thump when you shift from 1 to 2...and I used to baby the car when it used to do that...now drive it like you stole it...it was an easy install very straightforward.

I installed this engine mount on my car today. Total time for the installation was about 1 hour. It comes with all the directions, and hardware you need. There is a very MINOR increase in engine vibration only at idle. While driving, shifting is much smoother, and there is absolutely no more engine jerk inbetween shifts. This motor mount improves driving feel. I reccomend this motor mount to anyone with a Mazdaspeed6.

Installed the engine mount a few weeks ago. I ran into some installation mishaps (stripped one of the bolts, had to get it replaced), but that's not SU's fault. Same stuff everyone is saying... car shifts are noticeably smoother, particularly from 1-2, less wheel hop, etc. I'd recommend this product to anyone with a MS6 as it noticeably improves the driving.
Quick tips on the install: > use a torque wrench or breaker bar to loosen the engine mount bolts. they're on there pretty tight > use a floor jack to support the engine block to help line up the bolts > use WD40 to grease up the rubber bushings. they'll slide right in afterwards. > remember to place the washer on the passenger side > don't strip your bolts!

The rear mount was an easy install. There isn't too much added vibration, and the shift thumping is gone...
