  • Street Unit Motor Mounts are CNC machined billet aluminum
  • Bushings are high quality, solid 68-72A durometer urethane
  • Brackets are coated in a corrosion resistant matte black powdercoat
  • Helps eliminate unwanted "wheel hop" that plagues all Mazda3 and MS3 vehicles
  • Nearly controls torque steer
  • Recover torque lost in the drivetrain

I just installed these earlier today on my 2008 Mazdaspeed 3, They weren't hard to install and they look great. As far as vibration goes its nothing to crazy, slight vibration but not as much as i thought there would be. I cruised around for a bit got on it a bit and did a launch or two and it defiantly reduced my torque steer and wheel hop which is really nice not to have to fight my car to go in a straight line lol.  The only issue I ran into the the grounding wire that is under the PMM had no place to ground to like it does on the OEM one. Not to sure what that wire is there for but, I ended up just grounding it to the chassis which worked out well. Overall I'm happy with the product I just wish there was a place to mount the wire to like there is on the OEM one,

Car drives much better, shifts are more direct and the power feels like it transfers more efficiently.

Noticeable increase in cabin noise, expected, but not too bad.

Package arrived worse for wear due to improper packaging. Lacked the "free gift for over $100 purchase."

Disappointing experience that's not indicative of the Street Unit I know. But the product works as advertised and I'm happy with that.

The machine work on the billet aluminum is very well done and the steel braces look to be lazar cut, not die stamped.  The steel is also well formed.  I have had these in for 1 week, and have about 150 miles on them.  These will definitely connect the chassis to the drive train in a positive way.  Wheel hop and torque steer have been greatly reduced.  The power is transferred directly to the wheels.  Vibration vs resonating ;    I only feel a minor vibration at idle and off the line, but it immediately subsides,  Through the gears is great and cruise at expressway speeds is fine.  I find these, as with any high performance mount, tend to resonate the sound of the engine and drivetrain throughout the cab of the vehicle.   Bottom line, IMHO, if you want the power of a modded Speed 3 to make it to the pavement this is the way to go .

I was unsure of ordering these mounts from SU but once i installed them they were so worth it. I also have the SU rear mount and  I was able to feel the difference instantly! No more wheel hop! There is a small vibration with the AC on while the vehicle is in idle but its not that noticeable. I should have invested in this a long time ago. I recommend this and the rear mount to all MS3 driver. You will not regret it specially for such a great price.

I have all 3 mounts replaced by SU gear and eversince the car drives so much better, a "must do " !
