COBB Turbo Inlet Hose for Mazdaspeed 2.3L MZR
Application: Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6
Years: 2007 through 2009
Part Number: 771001

COBB Tuning announces the immediate availability of the COBB Turbo Inlet Hose for the MazdaSpeed 3. This sleek, high temperature silicone hose replaces the clunky plastic OEM piece. The interior features a uniform lining and incorporates a true taper design, eliminating any sudden neck-down in diameter found on lesser designs.

The end result is a smooth, unrestricted path from the intake to the turbo inlet, adding power and improving engine responsiveness.

The custom silicone construction of the COBB Turbo Inlet Hose rejects high engine bay temperatures and keeps the intake air closer to ambient temperature. The steel wire reinforced design eliminates the issue of hose collapse that other inlet hoses suffer under vacuum at peak demand, yet allows adequate flex between the engine and the intake.

The COBB Turbo Inlet Hose is designed to be a direct replacement of the OEM piece. Steel sleeves are used to join the Turbo Inlet Hose to the stock intake and by-pass-valve. Installation is easy, requiring simple tools, no modifications and all hardware is included. Color choices include traditional COBB Blue and our new Stealth Black.

The COBB Turbo Inlet Hose for the MazdaSpeed 3 offers intelligent design, premium construction and high value. They are in stock and available NOW!

5 of 5 Very happy December 30, 2012
Reviewer: tommyboy from Simpsonville, SC United States
I purchased the TIP along with a SRI and AP.  I notice a power increase but the addition to the turbo spool and blowoff you hear now makes it very intense during a 3rd or 4th gear pull.  I will see the numbers soon on a dyno but I am happy with the results so far.  Oh, and no issues with waves of power as with the other reviews.  I did install Autotec internals at the same time so I don't know if that had an effect with correcting issues others had.

5 of 5 Great product! May 16, 2012

This is a great piece and I don't know why people are complaining. You can't just keep throwing on parts on your car without getting a tune. Even if you have just an intake you still should get your car tuned. You can't expect to just keep throwing parts into your car and thinking that it will run well. After tuning with the AP, the car runs so much better I can hear the airflow a lot smoother than before. Definitely feel the power gain. Great combo with the Cobb SRI. Make sure you're ready to tune it before you get everything installed.

5 of 5 Great purchase! October 12, 2011
Reviewer: Justin Miller from Weldon Spring, MO United States
I recently ordered my Cobb Turbo Inlet and installed it with my Cobb SRI that I've had for 1 1/2 years so far. Most definitely worth the money! 5th gear didn't seem to pull too hard before, but now it screams! It makes such a difference, I would definitely reccomend using it with the Cobb SRI. Can't wait to get an AP and see an even bigger change!

5 of 5 FORGET what those guys are saying about.... March 17, 2011
Reviewer: Chris from Tuscloosa, AL United States
...not using the COBB SRI and COBB TIP together...must be something wrong they're doing, because I installed both in my car shy of a month ago and I absolutely love it - car pulls like "WHOA" now...and there is no "spiking" or "waves"...don't let that scare you away from these two incredible products!! The increased performance gains are BEYOND noticeable and omg, you will love the sound!!! Best car part I've ever spent money on [so far].

3 of 5 Do noCOBB TIP & SRI combo until tuned! January 9, 2011
Reviewer: Chad Sparks from GLENPOOL, OK United States
I can confirm the issue with the car pulling in surges when combining this TIP with the COBB Short Ram Intake. You can run one or the other, but not both, unless you get a tune. The MAF just can't handle the combo. Stay away from the TIP and just get the SRI until you have the money to do a custom dyno tune. Great product other than this issue.
