This is definately better than stock. My stock one did not even have a gasket. The stock plastic is very light and does not feel solid. The turbosmart one feels very solid. I have a aem cold air intake and 2nd cat delete. I did not notice a big different in sound with windows up and with windows down could hear small difference.. The car seems to run better and big difference in the driving. When driving seems to be a lot smoother, less lagg. I believe my stock was leaking. When i went to take stock one off the bolts holding it was hard even tight (probably could of removed by hand). Very easy to replace (maybe took 10 mintues). The hardest thing was getting the boost hose off on the motor side as the clip is very hard to get to. If you have a small pliers or needle nose may be easier as I did not. The new boost hose seems to be smaller in inside diameter and take a little force to get on. The stock close clamps will not work they are to big. This was worth every penny as an upgrade.

Bypass valve

Valve is quiet all you hear is whooshing sound no metal pingy sound, If you desire function over sound this is the one for you! you still hear valve but it won't get annoying that's for sure. If you have to be the center of attention this valve is not for you.

Very good mod for this car...new BPV holds boost much better than stock and the turbo seems to spool up quicker...can tell a difference in acceleration.

Quick and easy install. Looks good. Sound is much cleaner than stock valve. What are the grounds for using the other spring? When/Is it necessary? How do you change it?

Holds boost much better, and my MS6 is noticeably quicker after 4k rpm. Turbo spools much more efficiently. I have this coupled with a Cobb Turbo Inlet and Injen Cold Air intake. What a difference! TY Andrew and SU!
