TEIN products for the Mitsubishi
line of vehicles!
S.Tech Lowering
Springs
The TEIN S.Tech spring is an
excellent step towards suspension tuning. They offer approximately a 1.5 inch
drop for a more aggressive appearance. Comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
Spring length is guaranteed not to sag more than 5mm and to be clear of any
manufacture defects.
High Tech Lowering Springs (H.Tech)
The High Tech springs are made
from a new material called "Vanadium", which is much lighter then other spring
and increases flexibility. The H.Tech springs offer about a 1 inch drop for a
more attractive appearance. Comfortable ride quality is still maintained.
Super Street Dampers
TEIN has developed advanced
technology to design the shell case and stroke to bring out the full potential
of your vehicle. These features of the TEIN Super Street Damper kit were
designed with greater performance to satisfy all your driving demands. This high
performance damper can be used for weekend racing and/or daily driving. The
discomfort caused by uneven roads or bumps are eliminated on daily street use.
For race use, the ride height adjustable system enables you to adjust ride
height and 16 levels of damping force. In other words, you can set your vehicle
to meet all situations
Type Basic Dampers
TEIN Type BASIC damper is for the
driver that is seeking high performance with a reasonable price. The Basic
damper MSRP starts at $750.00, which includes 4 springs and 4 shocks. Compared
to the "sleeve type" coil over, the Type Basic has a more exclusive set up for a
better balance of suspension travel and damping force. Ride height is
adjustable.
Type Flex Dampers
TEIN Type FLEX damper kit was
designed to provide driving comfort and sports performance with its full-length
adjustment system. They have incorporated separate height and preload
adjustments, which allows you to have various set-ups to meet different road
conditions. The FLEX Damper kit includes pillow ball upper mounts and is
compatible with the EDFC, for maximum performance for the streets.
Super Drift Dampers
The Super Drift Damper is made
exclusively for drifting; developed for uncompromising people who would like to
swing the car more freely, to enjoy real drifting to the extreme, and/or to
lower the ride height. TEIN has renewed, revised and reset their Type HE damper
to meet the demand of remarkably growing 'drift market'. They are now
confidently releasing the super drift damper for serious drift drivers,
emphasizing more than ever on drift control at high-speed.
Super Racing Dampers
The Street Version Sports Shock
Absorber, Inherited All the DNA of 'Type N1'.
Unlimited Setting Capabilities! Top-of-the-Line Ready-for-Competition Sports
Shock Absorber for serious users. Mono-Tube Shell Case Structure. Full-Length
Ride Height Adjustment System. Separate Compression and Rebound Damping Force
Adjustment.
Type N1 Damper
Type N1 is TEIN's exclusive
racing model application. High quality is proven with high technology in the
light aluminum lower bracket, mono-tube shell case, and individual compression /
rebound adjustment, with a base valve (20 levels X 20 levels). TEIN recommends
using TEIN racing springs. Developed for Super N1 Endurance Racing
(For Race Use Only).
Type HT Damper
TEIN has been cultivating
technology through Tarmac racing like Gymkhana. TEIN's separate compression /
rebound damping force adjusting mechanism makes it easy to change settings due
to difference of grip level, course, weather and temperature on the road
surface. This mechanism will definitely help you win.
Pillowball Upper Mount
TEIN's pillow ball (spherical
bearing) upper mount is designed for each individual model of the vehicle. By
remaining the positioning design of upper spring and shock absorber close to
manufacture's standards, TEIN's pillow ball upper mount keeps height change to
the minimum and maintains the stroke center. The rubber bush is replaced with a
pillow ball which eliminates the load input compliance, reduces the change of
alignment to improve the grip of the tire.
Hood Damper
The hood damper is designed to be
installed without any modification to the vehicle, so that many users can
install by themselves. All that is needed is some simple tools.
Electronic Damping Force
Controller (EDFC)
EDFC (Electronic Damping Force
Controller) makes it possible for the driver to control the damping force by
controlling a motor installed in the shock absorber while being seated in the
driver's seat. Since the damping force can be manually controlled with ease to
meet different situations, the driver can enjoy variations in the suspension
setting.
