This high quality vented hood is a great addition to turn your MAZDASPEED 3 into a beauty. Fiber Images has custom made this for your MS3. The hood will allow the stock vent for the top mount intercooler vent to mount. It will reduce the weight of your car and add style! Fiber Images makes some of the best carbon fiber hoods out there.

The Vented hood not only adds style but increases horsepower. With the increased air flow being driven in to the TMIC increases the cooling. This in turn will help hold boost pressure and prevent heat soak.

I originally bought the smooth CF hood in red Kevlar, and while I loved the color, I wished I had bought the vented hood. After two years, I traded up - bought the vented hood in red Kevlar and IM happy as can be! Looks amazing!!

As for the other review - each hood is slightly different, so because one person had a problem with fitment in one area doesn't mean EVERYBODY will. And mine doesn't pressure dent easily from a cat jumping on the hood, I dont know what that's all about. The hood is amazing, fits great, feels nice and sturdy. I couldnt be happier!

for the previous comment this hood mounts perfectly to the mazdaSpeed 3. Ive had it on my mazda speed 3 for 2 months and it gives it a whole new look I get so many head turns with this hood. Takes awhile to get though thats my only gripe.

This hood looks great but the only issue is that the pictures of the hood are of the mazdaspeed 6 no 3 I really want to know if it is for the speed 3

I like my hood, but have a couple isues. You absolutely need to reattach the rubber I.C. gasket from OE hood. Simple fabbed brackets worked for me.Without this your TMIC will not cool properly, and you'll lose performance! The hoods are also extremely fragile and can pressure dent very easily! (Like cats jumping on them!) Other than that, The hood is beautiful, and creates alot of looks on the street!

Pretty good fitment. Had a couple of breaks in the carbon fiber but thats about it.

Shipped to me here in Canada and it took forever. Not SU.com fault, Fiber images fault.

If you want a sportier look with functionality do it up. Turns heads and throws more air into my TMIC.
