Cobb Tuning Cobb Tuning Tubular Anti-Sway Bars (Front and Rear)
Application: Legacy GT 05 - 08
The COBB Tuning Tubular Anti Swaybars were in house
designed and custom fabricated to our specifications. The primary
function and benefit to these bars is to balance the suspension of your
vehicle by reducing body roll and under steer. The tubular construction
coupled with the adjustability of the rear bar makes this set a must
have for any handling enthusiast.
Race proven with our own COBB
Time Attack test car, the Tubular Swaybar set come with our standard
heavy duty rear swaybar mounts, or our in house designed Billet
Adjustable Slider Mounts.
What
makes these bars unique is their hollow (tubular) construction which
results in a much lighter and technically superior design compared to
the lesser solid bar design. This is the very reason why you'll find
tubular swaybars used on high-end performance vehicles and race cars.

The tubular design is more expensive and more
difficult to manufacturer but that should not be any excuse for not
offering the best solution possible. From even a purely aesthetic point
of view, the style of the thick, aggressive 25mm diameter swaybar
easily visible from behind the car screams that you're serious about
performance.
Adjustment may be made in order to
increase/decrease the rear swaybars effective stiffness. Compared to
the stock swaybar, the COBB adjustable rear swaybar is +55%, +95%, or
+165% stiffer depending on which of the three settings you select. Our
bar exactly replaces the factory swaybar and includes new mounting
bushings.
Swaybar kits are available with you choice of
our standard heavy duty rear swaybar mounts (non-adjustable) or our new
Adjustable Slider Mounts. Please note some clearance issues may exist
if using the adjustable mounts with the stock STI muffler. This
clearance issue does not exist with our muffler or other mufflers we've
tested to date. No known clearance issues exist with our standard
non-adjustable mounts.
It is recommended the swaybars be used as a matched set, Front and Rear, for optimal handling performance.
