This is where to start your quest for additional power and response from the Forester XT. Included in the Stage 1 Kit is the highly regarded AccessPORT which is used to reprogram the factory engine computer, unlocking an additional 35 HP (power) and 45 lb-ft (torque) from a Forester XT and increases boost to approximately 13.5 psi.

The Stage 2 Kit continues where the Stage 1 Kit leaves off. Included with Stage 2 is the AccessPORT, as well as the complete COBB Tuning Turbo Back Exhuast. Starting off the COBB Turbo Back system is the COBB Downpipe. The CAD designed bellmouth of the COBB downpipe makes sure the airflow is smooth and efficiant. The system finishes with the modest tip of the Cat Back section that sits completely flush with the bumper. With a subtle, but deep exhaust note, the COBB exhaust achieves the highest performance while still retaining a stock like appearance.

Exhaust Noise Level	With Cat : Below 95 dB (meets EPA requirements) w/o Cat: Above 95 dB (illegal for street use)
Installation Difficulty	Average difficulty, requires basic hand tools and jack stands or vehicle lift
Options	With Cat : Best for emissions, quieter
Reliability	Very good. Engine experiences less stress from heat and exhaust backpressure. Exhaust system constructed of more corrosion resistant material than stock.
Legality	Due to the change in emissions equipment (catalytic converters), system is not legal for street use in all states. Please check your local laws.
