Representing one of the biggest bang-for-the-buck upgrades, CPE is proud to release the newest addition to their Xcel™ product line: The XcelNANO™!

“NANO” is a prefix for 10-9 (one-billionth) or something really, really small.  CPE felt this name was fitting because the new intake is a miniaturized version of the popular Xcel™ cold air intake.  CPE has basically trimmed all of the non-critical elements from the cold air intake. 

The XcelNANO™ is beautiful because it is so elegantly simple.  It features the ultra-precise CNC machined aluminum mass air meter housing.  The computer controlled machining process ensures that the housings have the same diameter for the most accurate fuel trimming.  CPE of course also includes an aluminum stock-style airflow straightener which greatly improves mass air sensor precision. 

The XcelNANO™ comes with all hardware required for a complete and professional looking installation.

I was very impressed with this intake. Sounds good and you can tell the difference in torque and horsepower over the stock airbox.  Ordered on a Thursday and received on Saturday.  Thanks SU for the always fast shipping.

Awesome mod, have my resonators deleted and this on make my exhaust sound amazing. Turbo spool is much sooner and you can really hear the stock bov. Dashhawk read at 289 hp (crank). Def. a must have for the mazdaspeed 3!!!

The SRI was home in less then a day and a half, very fast shipping. The unit was fairly easy to install after reading some reviews of some install glitches (one hose who looks like it wont swivel will actually do at the tip). Once the install was completed, the magic kicked in. The sound this intake produce is awesome, and the so anticipated PSCHHH on my PBV was actually audible. I love it, accelerations are smoother and more quick so this is another plus. I cant say about fuel consumption yet its only been a couple of days. But overall very pleased with this purchase.

Nano wakes up the beast inside the MS3. You'll have hours of fun spooling up to the symphony of boost. Subtle, then loud when on it. Hear the BPV doing work even if you still have OEM BPV. Few mods are as easy or beneficial for the $. Takes a novice less than 1hr with basic hand tools to remove OEM airbox and install nano. No fitment issues and its well above the shiftweight, so no clanking on the side of the piping like a full CAI. I was concerned with rubbing as the tolerances between the silicone elbow of the intake and the battery box wireloom clips is less than 1". Been running it for a yr with no issues, rubbing, or CEL's. Monitored a/f ratio, temps, and fuel trims to see how it affected things, cP-e did their homework. If I had a complaint, it would be that the OEM PCV hose was too long to fit properly on the port of the nano and needed trimmed or persuaded by bending. Quaility is top notch and its lasted. Im happy with cP-e and streetunit. Do it! You won't regret it.

i had the cold air cpe and had to switch it out due to the design of the cpe cold air my shift weight was slamming into the pipe causing a huge dent and eventually a small hole. so i switched to this short air, and so far so good, no issues very simple install and works just as it should.
