AutoEnginuity's Scan Tool is a professional PC, Pocket PC, and Palm diagnostics scan tool for all OBD2 (OBDII) compliant vehicles. AutoEnginuity's scan tool allows you to read your vehicle's diagnostic trouble codes, live vehicle sensors (including wide-band O2 sensors), and inspection/maintenance system test results to quickly determine what service the vehicle requires. The Scan Tool is available with serial or USB connections.

Software Enhancements:
All generic scan tools can only access the powertrain, no matter what SAE Modes (J1979/J2190) they use for communication. With these software enhancements, you can access dozens of systems (ABS, transmission, GEM, SRS/Airbags, Instrument Cluster, etc.) generic scan tools can't even see. This gives you access to thousands of sensors and dozens of bi-directional controls/system tests. Software enhancements are available for Ford, GM, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, BMW, and Chrysler.

With the popularity of the Bluetooth wireless technology appearing in PDAs and laptops, Auto Enginuity decided to work with a leading Bluetooth vendor to provide this cable-less solution to their OBDII interfaces. Now you can have hands-free operation of the ScanTool for your Palm, Windows Pocket PC/Mobile, or PC-based computing device. Second they offer 900Mhz wireless service. Now you can be cable-free while still retaining enhanced support.
